Personal/Applicant Data Obtained
The career opportunities section of this website uses a third party platform jointly administered by Greenhouse Software, Inc. This Privacy Statement applies to Old Mission’s processing of the personal data provided by applicants via the online application process. Old Mission will utilize this Applicant Data only to assess an applicant’s suitability for a career opportunity with the Company . The types of personal data that may be collected, held and used by the Company in these circumstances may include your name, home address, email address, contact number, qualifications, and any other information that you may disclose to Old Mission for the sole purposes of employment and managing the Company’s recruitment related activities. If you do not provide the requested personal data, or if the data you input is incomplete or inaccurate, the processing of your application may be adversely affected.

Old Mission reviews the Applicant Data retained for unsuccessful candidates for consideration for future career opportunities. Therefore the Company retains this data for such time as it reasonably considers appropriate for this purpose. Applicant Data for successful candidates may be retained as part of an employee’s personnel file in accordance with Old Mission’s HR policies and applicable law. If your personal data is no longer needed, Old Mission will take necessary steps to destroy it and remove the information from our systems. If any of your details change or if you would like to have your information destroyed immediately please inform the Company as soon as possible by contacting dataprotection@oldmissioncapital.com and the Company will take all necessary steps to correct or destroy your personal data.

As a ‘candidate’, you have control over your personal information and how it is collected and used. Security and Confidentiality of Personal/Applicant Data
Old Mission limits access to the internal systems that hold Applicant Data to a select group of authorized users, each of whom are given access through the use of a unique identifier and password. Access to Applicant Data on these systems is limited to such individuals for the sole purpose of performing their job duties (e.g: a human resources manager may need access to a candidate’s contact information for the sole purpose of setting up an interview).

Reasons for Contacting You
Old Mission may also request additional information from you to better evaluate your application. For example, we may request additional information to perform background checks or obtain approvals which may be a condition to employment. We may also need to contact you, either by traditional mail or email, in connection with your application or to provide you information about Old Mission, which we feel may be of interest to you. Without notice, the firm may eliminate, modify, or change any aspects of any employment described on this site. Old Mission includes Old Mission Europe LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in England. This Policy also reflects our commitment to safeguarding the privacy of our clients, business contacts, website visitors, and subscribers (collectively, you) and to protecting the personal information you share with us.

This Policy explains the types of personal information collected by us and how such information may be collected, used, processed, utilized, maintained, or shared. It applies to the processing of personal information by Old Mission, acting as a controller, in connection with:

Collection of Personal Information

Old Mission processes Personal Information regarding (i) its professional contacts, including our clients’ representatives when using our services; (ii) users of the Site; and (iii) anyone who sends us an enquiry. Personal Information is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual. It includes information that can identify an individual when combined with other information to which we have or are likely to have access. It does not include data from which your identity has been removed (anonymous or anonymised data).

Such information may include Contact Details, past employment history, special category data (see below), and information about criminal convictions (Candidate Data); and
• from third parties, such as from publicly accessible sources (for example, UK Companies House), client due diligence providers, websites which identify you, social media platforms (for example, LinkedIn), third-party introducers or business contacts (for example, accountants), recruitment agents, and your business associates (together Third-Party Sourced Data).

We may also collect and use technical information relating to your website visits, device, and interaction with our online communications. This might include:

• your device’s Internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, internet service provider, device identifier, your login information, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform, and geographical location;

Aggregated data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as it does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity, as the data has been anonymised.

If we combine or connect aggregated data with your Personal Information so that it can directly or indirectly identify you, we treat the combined data as Personal Information which will be used in accordance with this Policy.

Provision of our services

As noted above, where OME is engaged to provide services, our separate Counterparty Privacy Notice applicable to OME will apply to the information you provide to it for that purpose.

Disclosure of Personal Information

We do not sell or share for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising purposes your Personal Information to any third party. We may disclose your Personal Information in the following circumstances:

• To other entities in Old Mission.
• To third-party vendors or processors that provide us with the services necessary for the achievement of the purposes described above. These may include marketing, providing communications, IT support, fraud prevention, data storage, web hosting, or analytic services. These third parties are only permitted to use your Personal Information to the extent necessary to enable them to provide their services to us. They are required to follow our instructions and to comply with appropriate security measures to protect your Personal Information.
• To our affiliates and other entities acting as independent controllers, which may be tax, legal, or government authorities, law enforcement agencies, regulators and professional bodies, or third parties in connection with claims, disputes, litigation, or investigations where we reasonably believe that disclosure is required by law or pursuant to legal process, or is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, including to protect or defend your rights, property or security or ours. In certain circumstances, we may be prohibited from telling you that a disclosure has been made.
• To other third parties when you expressly consent to such sharing.
• To other parties in connection with any sale or transfer of assets we make, or in connection with any merger, transfer, reorganization, financing, change of control, or acquisition in relation to Old Mission.

International Transfers

Old Mission is an international business, with clients, affiliates and offices located throughout the world. As our headquarters are based in the United States, your Personal Information will be transferred to the United States for the purposes referred to under this Policy.

In addition, when we disclose your Personal Information with the recipients mentioned above, it may involve transfers of your Personal Information overseas, which may include transfers to countries outside of the UK/EEA whose laws provide levels of protection for Personal Information that are not always equivalent to the level of protection that may be provided in your own country.

We have procedures and contractual obligations in place to ensure that Personal Information is transferred, processed, and stored with appropriate safeguards and in accordance with applicable laws. Such appropriate safeguards include the implementation of an international data transfer agreement, covering transfers of Personal Information between OME and US-based entities in the OME group. Security Procedures

Old Mission maintains appropriate technical and organizational security procedures in order to protect your Personal Information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure or alteration, in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.

We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

In addition to such measures, Old Mission limits access to your Personal Information to those personnel, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a need to know. Upon the expiration of the applicable data retention periods, we will delete the relevant Personal Information.

We will keep your Personal Information for the whole duration of any contract for our services between us, as extended by applicable data retention periods in our records management or data retention policies, or for as long as may be required by applicable statutory or professional retention obligations.

In some circumstances we will anonymise your Personal Information, so that it can no longer be associated with an individual, for research or statistical purposes. As long as such data remains anonymised, we may use it indefinitely without further notice to you.
