Old Mission Capital Hires Eugene Davidovich to Lead Launch of Single-Dealer Platform

New Platform Intended to Expand Access to Old Mission’s Unique Liquidity

CHICAGO — September 9, 2025Old Mission Capital, a leading global market maker in exchange-traded funds (ETFs), today announced that Eugene Davidovich has joined the firm to lead the development of its first single-dealer trading platform, expected to launch by the end of 2025.

Davidovich, a seasoned leader in multi-asset electronic trading, joins Old Mission as Head of Sales, Electronic Execution. He brings more than two decades of experience across top-tier financial institutions, including senior sales roles at MEMX, Direct Edge, Bats Global Markets, Citigroup and CBOE Global Markets, where he most recently served as head of sales and account coverage for U.S. equities. His hiring signals Old Mission’s strategic intent to broaden how institutional clients interact with the firm’s differentiated liquidity.

“As the market structure continues to evolve, we see an opportunity to make our liquidity more accessible, more transparent and more efficient,” said Patrick Nichols, Managing Partner and Head of New York City Office at Old Mission. “Eugene’s expertise will be instrumental in building a platform that delivers on those goals while aligning with how the most sophisticated counterparties want to trade today.”

A Complement to Broad, Existing Market-Making Infrastructure

Old Mission is already one of the largest and most active market makers in ETFs, making markets in thousands of products across virtually every exchange and multiple off-exchange venues. The firm has long maintained bilateral trading relationships across asset classes, including ETFs, bonds and options. The new single-dealer platform is designed to complement that infrastructure by offering direct, bilateral access to Old Mission’s differentiated liquidity.

“We already trade with many of these clients through existing relationships,” said Davidovich. “What the platform will do is give them more control, more transparency and a more direct way to access our unique liquidity—without relying solely on fragmented, external venues.”

Unlocking Targeted Liquidity, Tighter Markets

Through its new single-dealer platform, Old Mission can offer more efficient trading through customized, disclosed or undisclosed interactions, tailored to each client’s preferences. The platform will also allow Old Mission to exercise greater control over quote distribution and visibility, ensuring deeper markets, tighter spreads and higher-quality execution for approved counterparties. This precision gives Old Mission the ability to offer more advantageous pricing and depth to clients based on real-time data and long-standing trading relationships.

“The platform allows us to control the ‘who, what and how’ of our liquidity,” added Davidovich. “That means clients can access deeper books and tighter markets—without the latency or leakage concerns that come from more exposed trading environments.”

Building on a Foundation of ETF Excellence

Over the past decade, the firm has focused its energy on becoming the premier ETF market maker in the industry. Now, the firm is leveraging that position to introduce a differentiated single-dealer platform built on best-in-class execution quality, client alignment and cross-asset experience. The launch will mark Old Mission’s formal entrance into the single-dealer platform space, a move designed to deepen client relationships and reinforce its role as a trusted counterparty in increasingly electronic markets.

“We’ve taken the time to get the foundation right,” said Nichols. “Now we’re bringing that same level of precision and performance to a new platform that will expand how the Street interacts with us going forward. Bringing Eugene on board underscores our commitment to innovation and ensures we’re building this platform with both strategic vision and executional excellence.”
